Buffalo Wild Wings following in Frisch's footsteps: Company to switch from Coke to Pepsi products

CINCINNATI -- Local residents recently choked back their despair over Frisch's restaurants trading in their signature Cherry Cokes for a Pepsi, and now it seems another eatery is following suit.

According to the Buffalo Wild Wings General Manager in Anderson Township, Christina Coffey, the chain is currently in the process of switching from Coke to Pepsi products.

But why?

Coffey cites the food and beverage innovation that Pepsi is offering. She says the company's tie to sports and the NFL adds to the desire to switch pop products.

"[Switching products] will happen over the next few months and they plan on all the stores switching by the spring," Coffey said.
