Reward increased to $20,000 for info in Brittany Stykes' death

GEORGETOWN, Ohio -- The reward for information leading to a conviction in the death of Brittany Stykes now stands at $20,000, thanks to a pair of anonymous donors who pledged $5,000 each, the Brown County Sheriff's Office announced Thursday.

Stykes, 22, and her unborn daughter were killed when someone shot her Aug. 28, 2013 on Route 68 in Brown County.

Stykes' 14-month-old daughter was also shot in the head, but survived.

Authorities said many people have already come forward with information about the case.

Investigators asked anyone with information about the attack to call Crime Stoppers at 513-352-3040 or the Brown County Sheriff's Office ad 937-378-4435 ext. 130. They said tipsters can remain anonymous.
