LEWIS TWP., Ohio -- A man faces a felony burglary charge after being arrested for stealing nearly $3,000 worth of jewelry and fishing poles from a home in Brown County.
Jason Downing is charged with the Aug. 16 incident in Lewis Township. He is accused of taking $2,700 worth of jewelry, fishing equipment and cash, according to the Brown County Sheriff’s Office.
Downing is charged with second-degree felony burglary. He’s at the Brown County Adult Detention Center on a $100,000 cash/surety bond.
A court appearance is scheduled for Monday.
