HIGGINSPORT, Ohio -- Brown County authorities need help locating a woman missing since Thursday.

Genevieve Smith, 42, was last seen at her home in Higginsport at about 7:45 a.m.

Smith is 5-foot-2 and 125 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.

Her 2007, maroon Ford Mustang is also missing. Her Ohio license plate reads: EDC9622.

According to the Brown County Sheriff's Office, Smith may have been arguing with a man believed to be 55-year-old Andrew Smith. Smith is 5-foot-7, 210 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes.

Smith has a protection order against him.

Smith has failed to show up for work and missed a court hearing, which is abnormal for her, according to deputies.

If anyone knows Smith's whereabouts, they are asked to contact Detective Corey Gould at 937-378-4435 ext. 130.
