Aberdeen woman charged with trying to burn down house after domestic dispute

ABERDEEN, Ohio -- A domestic dispute led to a charge of aggravated arson for one Aberdeen woman.

Jessica Gast is currently in the Brown County Adult Detention Center after Brown County Sheriff  deputies say she tried to burn down a house on Maple Street on Friday, June 20.

The sheriff's office received a call about a disturbance on Maple Street. It was there, deputies say, that after Gast got into an argument she returned to the home, destroyed household items and tried to set the place on fire.

A Brown County judge set Gast’s bond at $100,000.
