PHOTOS: Police release photos of Florence Mall armed robbery

FLORENCE, Ky. -- Police need help identifying three people they believe can provide information on an armed robbery that took place in the parking lot of a shopping center in Northern Kentucky.

The surveillance images were taken July 10 at the Florence Mall just before a woman was robbed at knife point.
Investigators say the victim was walking through the parking lot when a man approached her, showed her a knife and demanded her purse. The woman told police the suspect got away with her $800 Louis Vuitton handbag and its contents, as well as a $300 cellphone.

No injuries were reported.

While they've not formally been labeled suspects, the three people pictured in the media player above are wanted for questioning by Florence police.

"The suspect is believed to have been in the mall prior to the incident," said Detective Ki Ransdell with the Florence Police Department. "He was walking with two other females while inside the mall."

A photo of the vehicle they three were last seen traveling in was also released. It's described as a silver four-door SUV crossover.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Ransdell at 859-334-5549.
