FLORENCE, Ky. -- One person was hospitalized Wednesday evening when landing a parachute in Northern Kentucky.
The man landed the parachute during the National Anthem, which was played before the Florence Freedom Celebrity Softball Classic's first pitch at about 7:30 p.m.
Something went wrong as the skydiver touched ground, Boone County authorities said, and he was taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center with injuries to his leg.
No further information was immediately available.
