AirCare called to multiple-vehicle incident on Houston Road in Florence

FLORENCE, Ky. – AirCare was called to Houston Road Saturday afternoon when the driver of a vehicle lost control and was involved in a multi-vehicle accident.

The four-vehicle accident occurred at 2:25 p.m. in the 4900 block of Houston Road, causing back ups and delays in the areas.

A child was thought to be in the car that caused the crash, according to a Boone County dispatcher.

Four total patients transported. One person was taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center by AirCare and a second person was transported to the medical center via ambulance. Two others were transported by medics to St. Elizabeth-Florence.

It was initially unclear why the driver lost control of the vehicle.
