A Cincinnati native who is a New York Times bestselling author is this year's guest speaker at the annual Books for Lunch event that benefits The Seven Hills School.
Curtis Sittenfeld will appear at a lecture luncheon and book-signing event will occur at 11 a.m. Feb. 8 at the Cintas Center on the campus of Xavier University.
Also, she will speak at a dinner at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 7. It will be held at the home of Seven Hills parents Nancy and John Silverman of Indian Hill.
A Seven Hills alumna, Sittenfeld is the author of several fiction novels including "American Wife," "Prep" and "The Man of My Dreams. Her books have sold more than 1.6 million copies and are translated into 25 different languages.
Additionally, Sittenfeld is the sister of Cincinnati City Councilman P.G. Sittenfeld.
Tickets for the luncheon are $50, or $30 with current college I.D. Tickets for the dinner are $85.

The current incarnation of The Seven Hills School was established in 1974 by the merger of the College Preparatory School and the Hillsdale-Lotspeich School, which each date back to the start of the 20th Century.
Seven Hills has campuses in East Walnut Hills and Madisonville.
