Anthony Givens, suspect in Fairfield homicide of Julian Slaven, to appear in court

FAIRFIELD, Ohio - A man who turned himself in to police less than a week ago is scheduled to be in court Tuesday morning for his role in the murder of a Fairfield man.

Anthony Givens, who was wanted for the murder of 19-year-old Julian Slaven, will appear before a judge at 9 a.m. after he surrendered to police Nov. 29.

Slaven was shot and killed Nov. 24 when two men burst into his house on Judy Drive. Givens, 21, is among five suspects in the case.

On Nov. 27, Fairfield police arrested 26-year-old Jerry Eacholes, 19-year-old Misty Williams and 19-year-old Christia Frymire in the investigation of Slaven's homicide. Joseph Goodin, 25, turned himself in to police later on Nov. 27 for his role in the case.

Givens turned himself in with his attorney by his side and was charged with aggravated murder.
