Red Bank exit reopens after accident

CINCINNATI - A multiple vehicle accident Friday afternoon on Red Bank Road near Duck Creek caused police to close the Red Bank exit on Interstate 71 for several hours.

Two people were taken to the hospital with what was believed to be minor injuries. Six vehicles including a dump truck and a tractor-trailer were involved in the crash being investigated by Cincinnati police.

A special hazmat team was called to clean up an estimated 60 gallons of diesel fuel that was spilled in the accident.

The exit is now reopen.

The accident occurred shortly after 1 p.m.
