CINCINNATI - Five members of a gang identified as "Quiet Money, Inc." have been indicted on multiple gun and drug charges Thursday following their arrests.
The news of their charges emerged Thursday in a news conference with the FBI, U.S. Attorney's Office of Ohio and the Cincinnati Police Department.
Cincinnati Police Chief James Craig said the arrest was a major dent in criminal activity in Over-the-Rhine.
The five people accused of the gun and drug charges are Phillip Shaw, Antonio Woods, Ryan Neel, Yahmale Brown and Quenton Thomas.
FBI Special Agent Edward Hanko led the investigation, which has been underway for more than a year. The arrests were made because it was clear the five men were going to rob an individual of heroin, cocaine and cash, Hanko said.
Chief Craig stated flatly that police are going to do whatever it takes to disrupt gang activity in Cincinnati.
