MILFORD TOWNSHIP, Ohio - Four people -- including two juveniles -- are recovering in area hospitals after they were involved in an crash on a Butler County roadway early Friday morning.

The Butler County Sheriff's Office said the crash happened shortly after midnight on in the 1100 block of Somerville-Jacksonburg Road in Milford Township.

Sheriff Richard K. Jones said a preliminary report indicates that 19-year-old Cody Wallen was driving his 2000 Chevy pickup west on the roadway when he over-corrected, causing the truck to veer off the left side of the road and roll over.

Investigators said Wallen was thrown from the truck. Wallen was taken to The Atrium Hospital in Middletown first and then flown to Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.

Jones said one of Wallen's three passengers, 18-year-old Timothy Isaac Jr., was also thrown from the pickup. Isaac was flown to University Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati.

Deputies said 15-year-old Donald Ellis and 16-year-old Brannon McDaniel were taken to McCullough-Hyde Hospital in Oxford by ambulance.

Detectives said reports indicate that the pickup was traveling at a high rate of speed at the time of the crash.

The crash is still being investigated by the Serious Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team (S.T.A.R.T.).
