CINCINNATI -- While you're making your schedule for this weekend's MidPoint Music Festival, prepping for one of the biggest music weekends in Cincinnati, you might wonder: What should I eat?

Thankfully, MidPoint is in Over-the-Rhine, where there are many great, late-night dining options, and it has its own food setup this year in the MidPoint Indie Craft Village, too. Here are a few recommendations for food to try during MidPoint.

Late Night In OTR:

Cincy By the Slice: Grab a slice of pickle pie (or plain cheese or pepperoni) at the pizza window, then head upstairs to Maudie's, which is a MidPoint venue. Cincy By the Slice serves pizza after the bars close, but be warned: There may be a line. (But it's worth it for the pickle pie.)

Gomez Salsa: This little window right off of HalfCut is always crowded late at night, but the line moves quickly. Grab some tacos, a burrito or my favorite, the Turtle Shell. It's a combination of a burrito and quesadilla (a folded, griddled tortilla stuffed with your choice of fillings), and it's delicious. Gomez also has vegetarian options.

MidPoint Venue Vendors:

Hungry Bros.: They're everywhere! Get your fill of the Vladimir Poutine (Coca-Cola braised lamb, cheese curds and waffle fries) or any of their waffle fry-based dishes. They will be in the MidPoint Indie Craft Village.

Eli's BBQ: This is becoming a music festival classic. Find Eli's at the Indie Craft Village, where you can grab slow-smoked pulled pork topped with Eli's sweet-but-spicy sauce and slaw, all on a buttery bun. It's filling enough to keep you going until the last act ends.

Umami Bites: Looking for something a little lighter? If you're in the Indie Craft Village, try Umami Bites: It's a food truck out of Wooster inspired by backpacking trips in Asia. Try some Vietnamese spring rolls, pork belly won ton tacos or mochi ice cream.

Revolution Rotisserie: If you don't want to take a break during MidPoint to eat at the Race Street restaurant, Revolution Rotisserie also will have a presence at the Christian Moerlein Brewery on Saturday and Sunday. Their chitas (chicken pitas) come in a variety of styles, from the Marie Curie (with barbecue sauce and gouda) to the Nelson Mandela (which is taco-inspired).

Keystone Bar & Grill: Keystone's music-themed mac and cheese is a perfect fit for MidPoint. If you're at the Washington Park stage, get either the BB King, with barbecue chicken and bacon, or Buffalo Springfield, with buffalo chicken and blue cheese.

Fire On High Organic Food Truck: If you're at the Lightborne Lot, check out the organic, vegetarian, vegan and non-GMO food at Fire On High Organic Food Truck. It features items such as grass-fed angus burgers, vegetarian burgers and vegan selections, too. This is a great choice if you're vegan or vegetarian, or if you simply want something on the lighter side.

And don't forget the beer: There are tons of craft brands around the Village, including Christian Moerlein, Rhinegeist, Taft's Ale House, MadTree, Braxton and many more.

Happy MidPointing!
