CINCINNATI -- Oakley is now home to a new grocery store that offers healthy foods and value.
Fresh Thyme Farmers Market is set to make its Cincinnati debut Wednesday at 3321 Alamo Avenue.
A spokesperson for the company said Fresh Thyme will sell fresh, natural and organic products for a lower price than other specialty grocers.
“Our goal at Fresh Thyme is to make healthy eating more attainable, by eliminating any cost barrier,” CEO Chris Sherrell said. “Our team works hard to offer high-quality, fresh and healthy food at great prices, in an inviting and friendly atmosphere.”
Families are invited to bring children to the store's opening for face painting, balloon animals and food samples.
"Fresh Thyme is excited to introduce its newest store by hosting a fun, family-oriented grand opening celebration,” Sherrell said. “We are honored to join the Cincinnati community, and we invite residents to come to our opening and check out the first of two stores opening locally this year.”
The market is known for an extensive produce department with a wide variety of organic fruits and vegetables to choose from. Customers can also shop for natural meats, grab lunch from the deli, indulge on baked treats, stock up at 400 bulk food bins, grab frozen foods and find vitamins and body care products.
