HAMILTON, Ohio - Hamilton police arrested a man on Wednesday in the death of a 4-month-old infant.
Steven James Haley, 30, was charged with murder and child endangering.
The infant, James Smith, was rushed to the hospital on Feb. 27 after he stopped breathing.
The infant had visible injuries and was suffering from swelling of the brain when he arrived at the hospital, according to an incident report.
He died at Cincinnati Children's Hospital two days later.
Haley was also in possession of marijuana at the time of his arrest, and he received an additional charge of possession of marijuana.
Haley is being held in the Butler County jail.
No other information is being released at this time.
