HAMILTON, Ohio -- Job seekers should head to Hamilton on Thursday for a chance to meet several businesses that are looking to make some hires.
The Greater Hamilton Chamber of Commerce is holding its 23rd Annual Business Expo and this year it's including a job fair at Hamilton High School.
The job fair runs from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the high school's athletic center at 1165 Eaton Ave. Free parking will be made available, as well.
A luncheon will be held beforehand from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. It costs $25 to attend but the expo and job fair are free.
The luncheon will include a keynote address from Enrico Blasi, the head coach o the Miami University ice hockey team.
Organizers said the event is aimed at promoting Hamilton businesses and to provide an opportunity to connect businesses with those seeking jobs.
The Chamber of Commerce is teaming up with Workforce One of Butler County to put on the event.
ThyssenKrupp Bilstein and Vinylmax will be among some of the companies at the event. Officials said more than 80 companies have already agreed to attend.
Job seekers are encouraged to bring copies of their resumes, be ready for interviews and dress in appropriate job attire.
