Mason, Ohio - Bike riders from across the Tri-State plan to honor the memory of fallen Warren County Sheriff's Deputy Sgt. Brian Dulle on Sunday morning.
The Sgt. Brian Dulle Memorial ride will still take place at the Powder Keg Harley Davidson on Kings Center Court in Mason at 10 a.m.
Sgt. Dulle was killed while trying to stop a suspect during a high speed chase on May 10, 2011.
The event benefits three causes: the Brian Dulle Scholarship fund, Maddie's Hope and The Shield. Maddie's Hope is an organization named for Dulle's daughter that helps families fighting childhood cancer. Maddie has remained cancer free since 2009. The Shield is an organization that provides assistance to families of officers who have died or been injured in the line of duty.
Organizers are hoping the 300 riders registered will still participate on Sunday. In addition to the bike ride, there will be live bands, games, food drinks and more than 50 gift baskets.
