PRICE HILL - Four adults were displaced from their residence shortly after midnight Sunday as a result of a one alarm fire.
The Cincinnati Emergency Communications Center received a call of a third floor structure fire in a single-family residential home on Rulison Avenue around 12 a.m.
When fire crews arrived on the scene heavy smoke was seen coming from the third floor, Cincinnati District Fire Chief Raffel Prophett reports. It took crews about 20 minutes to contain the fire and an additional 90 minutes to put out hot spots to ensure the blaze was completely extinguished.
Damage to the house was estimated to be between $40,000 to $50,000. The cause of the fire was still under investigation, Prophett reported.
The Red Cross responded to the scene to help the four adults who lived in the dwelling.
