NORWOOD, Ohio - A Norwood dad spent his Fathers' Day in jail after police say he used heroin while at a barber shop.
Norwood police arrested 25-year-old Scott Leonard after they say he overdosed on heroin at Ed's Barber Shop on Montgomery Road in Norwood Satuday. When officials responded, they found Leonard passed out, and in possession of a needle believed to be used for heroin.
Leonard's 6-year-old and 4-year-old children were left alone while he used the drug, according to officials.
Leonard spent the weekend at the Hamilton County Justice Center and he remains there as of Monday morning.
Leonard is charged with several drug counts and child endangering.
Officials have not released any additional details at this time.
