CINCINNATI – A prominent businessman was robbed at gunpoint in a daring noontime holdup at DeSales Market in Walnut Hills, police said.
Three teenagers walked in, waved a gun and demanded the money from the register.
On their way out, they noticed one customer, ordered him on the ground and demanded his wallet.
The customer, Steve Leeper, head of the Cincinnati Center City Development Corporation (3CDC), obliged.
Hours later, police arrested the suspects at Kenwood Towne Centre.
They were using Leeper's credit card to buy "jeans and shirts and shoes and things like that," police said.
The suspects are juveniles - 14, 15, and 16, police said.
They could be held until they're 25, but a detective said they'll probably get off easier because the gun was a toy.
