CINCINNATI -- Police arrested a woman who they said smoked crack and gave an unknown drug to a child she was caring for.
Kimberly Bloomer, 36, admitted Thursday to smoking crack while caring for a 12-year-old boy, police said in court records.
Bloomer also gave the boy "an unknown drug causing him to have noticeable impairment," according to an affidavit.
The boy told a resource officer he had not slept in three days and the boy's arms and legs jerked uncontrollably when he tried to lay down, police said. He was also unable to balance while trying to walk and his words were slurred when he spoke.
The boy was driven to Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center for treatment.
Bloomer was charged with endangering children and contributing to unruliness or delinquency of a child.
She was scheduled for arraignment Friday morning.
