CINCINNATI -- Police arrested 22-year-old Cormon Harriell on Tuesday, charging him with murder for the death of 26-year-old Judson Roper Jr. on April 26 in the West End.
Witnesses flagged down a fire truck on the road and directed them to the victim's location near the intersection of Linn and Findlay streets. District One officers found Roper suffering from a gunshot wound at 9:52 p.m April 26. According to police, he died on the way to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
The incident marked the second deadly shooting in the West End neighborhood within that week: Police discovered 34-year-old Kendall Perkins shot to death inside his car on April 19.
