CINCINNATI -- Police arrested a man accused of stealing more than $1,500 worth of rare toys from one store and selling them to another.

Barak Boerstler, 36, took toys valued at $1,585 from a Mount Washington doll shop on May 22 while the owner was dealing with a customer, police said in court records. The customer was able to shoot a photo of Boerstler, which they gave to police.

Boerstler then took the stolen goods and sold them to another toy shop in Springboro, according to court records.

Police arrested Boerstler Tuesday. He was charged with theft. He was being held in the Hamilton County Justice Center pending arraignment Wednesday.
