COVINGTON, KY. AUG 25, 2014 -- Covington police investigated a shooting in the 300 block of E. 13th Street Monday afternoon.
Two men are in police custody accused of killing a Covington man.

COVINGTON, Ky. -- Two men are in police custody accused of killing a Covington man.
Police said 30-year-old Randolph Hughes was found suffering from gunshot wounds to his arm and the left side of his chest at about 12:45 p.m. Monday . The shooting happened in the 300 block of East 13th Street.
Police said Hughes was taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center and was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.
Investigators said they arrested two men later that afternoon in Florence.
Officers said 23-year-old Erik Avert Tucker and 22-year-old Reginald Davan Early are being held at the Kenton County Jail on murder charges.
Police Chief Spike Jones said residents in the neighborhood helped lead police to the suspects.
Jones said the men had just moved from Chicago to Covington about three weeks ago and had previous trouble with the victim.
No other details have been released.
