Man charged in 2012 murder to begin trial
CINCINNATI -- A man accused in the shooting death of a Westwood man in 2012 is scheduled begin trial in a Hamilton County courtroom Monday morning.
Deangelo Sanders, 24, faces aggravated murder and aggravated robbery charges, among other charges, in the death of Jeffrey Luttrell.
On Nov. 1, 2012, officers from District 3 responded to 2233 Moffat Court after receiving reports of a shooting.
Police located Luttrell's body in the rear of a building located at 2247 Harrison Avenue. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Sanders is scheduled to appear in court at 9 a.m.
Two charged in man's death near Children's Hospital to continue trial
CINCINNATI -- Two men charged in connection to a homicide that occurred near Children's Hospital in 2013 are scheduled to appear in a Hamilton County courtroom Monday to continue their trial.
Lavon Oden, 27, and Curtis Boston, 19, were arrested and charged with murder in the death of Dashawn Wheeler.
At approximately 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 30, 2013 Cincinnati police responded to the Children's Hospital Medical Center for a report of a person shot.
Wheeler arrived at the hospital and was pronounced dead.
He was shot in a vehicle parked in the 900 block of Burton Avenue.
The two are expected in court at 9 a.m.
