Westwood man accused of raping 6-year-old
CINCINNATI -- A Westwood man accused of raping a 6-year-old will go before a judge Tuesday.
Jason Rector, 30, is charged with two counts of rape after police say he engaged in sexual conduct with the child on June 1, 2013.
Rector is due in court for a plea or trial hearing.
Prosecutors accused Rector of engaging in sexual conduct with the 6-year-old two times on the same day, once in the child's bathroom and once in Rector's bedroom.
Last week Rector was ruled competent to stand trial. He’s being held on a $100,000 bond on each count.
Bond Hill man charged with rape, kidnapping to begin trial
CINCINNATI -- A Bond Hill man charged in the kidnapping and rape of a 51-year-old woman in 2013 is scheduled to begin trial Tuesday in a Hamilton County courtroom.
Jeffrey Lewis-Jones, 53, is charged with two counts of rape, one count of kidnapping and one count of felonious assault after the incident on Sept. 6, 2013.
Police said Lewis-Jones raped the victim during a physical altercation.
He has been held at the Hamilton County Juctice Center on a $250,000 bond since his arrest.
He is scheduled to appear in court at 9 a.m.
