Westwood man accused of raping 6-year-old

CINCINNATI -- A Westwood man accused of raping a 6-year-old will go before a judge Tuesday.

Jason Rector, 30, is charged with two counts of rape after police say he engaged in sexual conduct with the child on June 1, 2013.

Rector is due in court for a plea or trial hearing.

Prosecutors accused Rector of engaging in sexual conduct with the 6-year-old two times on the same day, once in the child's bathroom and once in Rector's bedroom.

Last week Rector was ruled competent to stand trial. He’s being held on a $100,000 bond on each count.
