Homicide suspect in court for competency hearing
CINCINNATI -- A man accused in a Sept. 2013 homicide is due in court Wednesday.
Police said 53-year-old Lois Welcher shot James Arrington on Sept. 29, 2013. Arrington survived the attack initially but later succumbed to his injuries.
Welcher faces two counts of murder.
He’s being held on a $1 million bond at a behavioral center.
Welcher is due in court at 9 a.m. for a competency hearing.
Arraignment set for man in string of burglaries
GREEN TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- A man accused in a series of burglaries in Green Township will be arraigned Wednesday.
Investigators accused Gregory Luncan, 22, of at least two burglaries near Sutters Mill Drive and West Fork Road.
Authorities said they believe Luncan is responsible for a rash of seven burglaries in the area.
He will be arraigned at 9 a.m. in Hamilton County Court.
