Blue Ash gas station robber gets few cigarettes instead of cash

BLUE ASH, Ohio – A robber with a knife wanted cash but had to settle for taking two packs of cigarettes from the Marathon gas station at 9210 Plainfield Road just before noon Thursday, police said.

A store clerk said the robber brandished a knife and fled without any money.

The robber was described as a white male, 20 to 30 years old, with dark hair and some facial hair. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and gloves.
