CINCINNATI - "Breaking Bad" fans broke down this week after the series came to an end. The government shut down, too. And for many iPhone users, their iMessage was yet another shutdown with which they had to deal. Read on to see what you may have missed this week in the digital review.

Fans use social media to react to Dusty Baker's departure. On Friday morning Twitter feeds were awash with news and fan opinions about Dusty Baker's role in the Reds post-season blahs. There was fond and not-so-fond farewells on Facebook, too.

All bad things must come to an end. This week saw the end of AMC’s hit show (and cult favorite) “Breaking Bad,” and the Internet was buzzing. Between social media users posting vague updates in an attempt to not divulge any spoilers Sunday night, to the mass “morning after” tweets steeped in sadness and feelings of loss, it’s clear that the digital world was feeling as blue as Walt’s meth.

Government shuts down, Twitter ramps up. In case you missed it, the federal government shut down just after midnight on Thursday, Oct. 1. Naturally, Twitter went wild. It's pretty clear that in times of national turmoil and confusion, some of the best comedic minds the Internet has to offer emerge--and tweet.

Life in the fastball lane. What does a 100 mph pitch from, say, Aroldis Chapman look like when it’s coming right at you? Could you hit it? WCPO staffers asked that same question, so they hit the batting cages with a Go Pro camera to test out their skills.
