Tri-State girls lace up their running shoes for Girls on the Run's Fall 5K race

CINCINNATI - Lace up those running shoes: The Girls on the Run Fall 5K zooms into Cincinnati on Saturday, Nov. 16 at Sawyer Point.

The local nonprofit organization inspires girls to be healthy and confident, using fun programs and events that creatively integrate running. This year, more than 1,000 will participate in their very first 5K run. We at #9Fitness sure hope it won’t be their last!

The fun starts at 8 a.m., when race participants and teams will enjoy a pre-race celebration that includes music, dancing, tiara decorating, tattoos (temporary, of course), sign-making, hair-decorating and much more.  After the party, runners hit the pavement for the 10 a.m. kickoff.
