9 reasons to get out of bed, bundle up & bring donations to Toy Team 9 at Kroger on Saturday

CINCINNATI - Are you free between from 6 a.m. and 2 p.m. Satruday? If so, please take a few minutes to check out Toy Team 9 at your nearest Kroger. We're trying to get 9,999 toys for needy kids this year, just in time for Christmas.

1. It’s a Saturday morning in the Tri-State, so you're probably pretty close to a Kroger location anyway.

2. The 9 First Warning Weather forecast is calling for a bit of snow, so chances you’ll be there anyway. Drop off a toy before you free your cart up for milk and toilet paper.

3. We’re trying to collect 9,999 gifts, so we’ll obviously need your help.

4. You’ll be helping a lot of kids. We’re giving the donations to agencies like Child Focus, Salvation Army, Be Concerned, Santa Maria, United States Marine Corps "Toys for Tots" and the Brighton Center in Northern Kentucky, to name a few.

5. We talk to you, all of the time. Now it’s your chance to have a chat with us. You can meet some of your favorite 9 On Your Side personalities!

6. ….and you can tweet with us too! We’re going to be using #ToyTeam9 as the hashtag and YOU could be in our Facebook album.

7. Love you some radio? Personalities from WARM 98, 103.5 WGRR, 94.1 Great Country AND Fox 92.5 will be on hand, too.

8. We’ve been doing this for three years now, so we know what we’re doing.  And we know we want you to be a part of it.

9. Giving feels good. We promise.
