Chesley could face disbarment in Ky.

COVINGTON, Ky. - A Kentucky trial commissioner has recommended that Cincinnatiattorney Stan Chesley be disbarred from practicing law in Kentuckyfor his involvement in a case dealing with the diet drugfen-phen.

Trial Commissioner William L. Graham also recommended Tuesdaythat Chesley be forced to return $7.6 million he was paid for hisinvolvement in the $200 million settlement, according to TheKentucky Enquirer.

Graham's report calls Chesley's greed in the case "both shockingand reprehensible."

Barring a possible appeal by Chesley, the trial commissioner'srecommendation goes to the Kentucky Bar Association's Board ofGovernors. The Kentucky Supreme Court has the final say on imposingany sanction.
