It's been a "rebuilding" year for the Cincinnati Reds. So was 2016, and 2018 will likely be the same.
Probably the single greatest factor in the rebuilding has been trying to create winning pitching staff. The Reds have had a few bright spots since the days of Cueto and Chapman, but the steady stream of fresh faces and returning veterans such as Bronson Arroyo and the newly healed Homer Bailey haven't been racking up the Ws.
As we wind down one year and look to the next, we have to wonder: What's the Red's plan for pitchers?
