You’ve gone to the store, you have everything you need to make an amazing Thanksgiving meal, and then you realize you have no idea what kind of drink to pair with it.

Wine doesn’t pair well with multiple foods. So forget that and go with beer. (You’ll thank us later.)

1. Traditional Turkey:

Amber ale or a lager like Oktoberfest, brown ale, or a strong golden ale like tripel.

2. Smoked Turkey:

A hoppy brown ale, Scotch ale, or a porter

3. Ham:

4. Stuffing:

5. Pumpkin Pie:

Spiced ale, winter warmer, or old ale

Whatever you do, don’t go with a hoppy IPA (and other bitter beers). They’re out of sync with the earthy flavors of a Thanksgiving feast.
