COLERAIN TWP, Ohio - Kahoot's Bar on Colerain Avenue is a popular place to play darts and have a brew. It was also a place alleged serial rapist Tony Pippin frequented until the night of Dec. 15.
That's the night bartender Pamela Rinear said she told Pippin he wasn't welcome anymore.
"I just got tired of looking at his face," Rinear said. "He just made your skin crawl."
Rinear said she had suspected Pippin as the man police wanted for multiple rapes and other crimes in the Delhi area.
"All's I had to say was, that's the guy. And they said who? And I said that's the guy. And we walked up to him and told him he was no longer welcome here," she said.
Pippin, according to police reports, left the bar but came back in with what turned out to be a starter pistol. He is accused of hitting a woman in the face with it after a scuffle.
Luckily for the bar patrons and the victim, police had been tracking Pippin with a GPS device and were close by. He was arrested on multiple charges and has been in jail ever since.
Rinear said she knew Pippin was trouble early on, and she was proud to have been a part of putting him in jail.
"Indicted on Monday was a great great start to a week," Rinear said. She added she hopes he stays in jail forever.
