ORIGINAL REPORT 11/2/07Fuggedabout Thanksgiving season. It's only November 1st, but Wal-Mart is already beginning its Christmas shoppping season... three weeks early. Check out Wal-Mart's website and you'll get details on five doorbuster deals Wal-Mart is offering Friday morning at 8 a.m.
But if you want some of the electronics items, you might want to get there early and get in line.
Friday's deals?
- The Fischer Price Nascar Ride-on for $144.
- A Sanyo 50-inch plasma hd-tv for 998-dollars.
- HD-DVD's for $15.
- A Toshiba HD-DVD player to play those DVD's on for $98: Wow, that's a deal!
- Finally, an Acer laptop computer for $348.
Ok...What you really want to know is what kind of a laptop computer Wal-Mart could possible be selling for $348. After all, most laptops run $800 to $1,200.
Wal-Mart won't release details, other than saying its an Acer laptop with 1-gigabyte of RAM.
However, several tech websites say it appears to be an entry level Acer Aspire laptop, which normally sells for $600.Don't expect top notch graphics or great video editing capability.
But at $348, tecchies say its a great deal... If you can get one.
