BLUFFTON, Ind. (AP) -- A northeastern Indiana man who was laid off last summer from his job with an automotive supplier has won $2 million in the Hoosier Lottery.
Mick Brickley of Bluffton recently claimed the second of two $2 million top prizes offered in the lottery's Casino Royale scratch-off game. He bought his winning ticket at a convenience store in Bluffton, a city about 25 miles south of Fort Wayne.
Brickley received his first payment Monday. The rest of the money will be paid out as an annuity in annual installments over 30 years.
Brickley was laid off in June from his production job at TI Automotive in Bluffton.
He plans to buy a house but isn't sure what he'll do with the rest of his winnings.
