New details have been released about the teenage couple accused of torturing a disabled teen during a home invasion last week in Hanover Township.

The 16-and-17-year-olds had a two-month-old baby together.

Butler County Children Services says it got a call two days prior to the attack that the two had abandoned their baby with a 15-year-old babysitter.

A runaway report was then filed with Hamilton police.

The paternal grandparents now have temporary custody.

The two teens appeared in juvenile court Thursday where the prosecutor asked the judge to send the case to adult court.

The prosecutor says the teens broke into the family's home to steal a car.

Police say when the mother left with the car, they attacked the 18-year-old disabled woman, cutting off her hair and beating her with a baseball bat.

They will appear in court again in April.
