SHARONVILLE, Ohio -- A Sharonville man is facing charges for allegedly brutally assaulting his neighbor.
Police say 44-year-old Daryl Adkins picked up a steel pole during a fight with his neighbor Monday night then struck him in the head several times, including when the victim was already down on the ground.
Adkins was arrested Monday night outside his home on Lebanon Road on a felonious assault charge.
His neighbor, Dallas Bowman, was significantly injured during the attack, according to police.
Police say both men had been drinking and so far, a motive for the attack is not yet known.
A judge set Adkins' bond at $10,000 on Tuesday.
