New information has been released following police investigation of a "suspicious" death in Mt. Washington.
Police have charged Cynthia Standifer with her son's murder.
Police were called to their home in the 6100 block of Wayside Court around 5 p.m. last night, where they found her 25-year-old son Rasheed Michael Standifer, dead inside.
That's where police say they also found his mother, suffering from an apparent drug overdose.
Police say Standifer caused her son's death and then attempted suicide.
She was taken to University Hospital. On Thursday she was arrested and charged with murder in her son's death.
