An investigation is underway after a Walnut Hills man lost his life in an head-on crash Friday.

Cincinnati police say two vehicles collided near the intersection of Kellogg Avenue and Salem Road.

One of the drivers was killed in the accident. Police say Arthur Stines, 53, died at the scene.

Police say his brother, Charles Stines, 56, was a passenger in the car at the time of the accident.  Officials say he suffered broken ribs and had to be transported to University Hospital.

Police say Katrina Kimberly, 39, the driver of the other car, veered head-on into Stine's car.

She was also injured in the accident, but officials say she does not have serious injuries.  She was also taken to University Hospital for treatment.

The Cincinnati Traffic Unit is awaiting toxicology results before deciding if charges will be filed.
