Hamilton Township Police have named a person of interest after a body was disovered in May.

The photo of Christopher Kimberlin was taken ten years ago so investigators say he may look different today.

Investigators say he's from Wilmington, also going by the name Chris Knight.

Here's why they want to find him:

"Through electronic communication with other parties he has admitted that if he were to ever come back to the state of Ohio he'd be implicated in a murder that took place in our area," said Lt. Jeff Braley.

"If he wasn't hands-on involved he was an eye-witness of this crime," said Braley.

Investigators say the victim, who was found by tree-trimmers in a wooded area along Montgomery Road, has 11 gold teeth and died from being hit over the head.

On Monday, detectives say the death was probably the result of a robbery or drug deal.

They want the word out now about Kimberlin because while they say he's been running in Texas and Florida, he may be in our area now.

Investigators say if they can find the killer, it might help them identify the victim. They say the victim's dental work indicates he's likely from Russia.

The only missing person investigators haven't been able to rule out as the victim is Alexander Alferov. His family in Russia reported him missing to the Russian consulate in Washington DC in 2001.

Hamilton Township police are currently working to get his dental records from Moscow.

Investigators say the family of the person of interest is not cooperating. "We have interviewed his family I will tell you his family is not cooperating at all. One family member has made an admission that they have knowledge of what happened but will not tell me. They've made admission that they are going to protect this individual at all cost," said Braley.
