He is a male he should not wear it at school.there is a dress code for all.and he should have to follow it the same as everyone else.boys go without shirts. does that mean girls can go outside topless. get real. this is just about rules.and nothing else. not what you are trying to make it out to be.

I just found this video on-line from YouTube --- I must say, I'm shocked! I am a male, 21 years old, I have always worn make-up, ever since I was 15. Okay, granted, I never wore black make-up, and never eye liner as extreme as that... I am a tad more conservative. But still, he should be allowed to wear make-up, I don't see a problem with it. If the school wants to set rules, it should apply to the whole student body. As the mother states, "do you want me to buy him pink?" --- yes, mom, I think that pink would be more suitable! Anyway, set standards and guidelines --- definitely BAN black lipstick though, yuck yuck --- that's a fashion DON'T anywhere you go.

Another idiot wanting to tie up the courts with nonsense. School is for learning; not to have a fashion/beauty show. Mom! Grow up! Don't be surprised if the school board amends the rules to state the dress code for males and females. Goodness! Always a buffoon out there ruining it for the rest.

Another idiot tying up the court system. Mom needs to grow up and tell her kid to wear the makeup outside of school. Always the few buffoons that have to ruin the lives of many. He'll look at himself 15 years from now and see how stupid he looks.

I love how the kid is "expressing himself". Hey kid...if you want to express yourself, then why don't you do something that hasn't already been done by a few million other kids. There is nothing about putting on makeup that makes you an individual, you are cattle following millions of other cattle. I'll bet the idea of cracking the books and becoming the top student in the class isn't anything he's considered, simply because that would require him to get up off his lazy butt and work. I feel most sorry that kids like this have parents like he does. That mother is the worst enemy this kid has, but it won't become apparent for another 20 years or so when this kid can't hold a job or get along in the world because he never had a fight his own battles. Mommy did it for him. Another one to throw on the pile of American mush.

He should be allowed to put on makeup ? Who cares !!! Let him do it . If he is not at school shooting some one or putting some one in harm so what let him do it. I think that some girls ware to much makeup but so what , let him ware it. Any way they are there to learn not worrying about who has on makeup boy or girl.

This kid is just looking for attention. You look like an ass-clown. School is for learning, it's not a circus.

Give me a break- who cares? I'm betting at least some of you squares grew up in the 80's when this stuff was everwhere... goth never really went away but is it really that shocking or distracting? Get over it. I saw a group of middle school kids unload a bus when I was in Germany earlier this year and at least half of them (boys and girls) were punk-ed out with every color of hair and make-up imaginable and I thought that was great... no one was bothered. We just need to not worry about such silly things that don’t have any real affect on our lives at all. If you are distracted by it, that is your own problem.

clhSerenity, express yourself all you want, just do it on your own time. School is a place for learning, not a place to distraxt others with this garbage. Follow the rules (rules, I might add, that might not have to be in place if parents would have a clue and parent their kids and teach them how be productive citizens instead of trying to be their "friend". That is the reason the schools are in the condition they are in these days. Follow the rulse while you are there, and express all you want after you leave.
