CINCINNATI -- Queen City residents will have a new place to get their sushi fix on Monday.
Fusian is opening a new location at 10 a.m. at 3780 Paxton Ave. in Hyde Park.
Mayor Mark Mallory will be on hand to cut the ribbon at the “fast casual” sushi restaurant.
Fusian exploded in popularity after opening a location in downtown Cincinnati.
The owners, Stephen Harman, Josh Weprin and Zach Weprin, started Fusian in 2010 at the Tower Place Mall before moving it to 600 Vine St.
The restaurateurs also have locations in Dayton and Columbus. The owners said they are developing a fifth location, as well.
The company also started a “Sushi in Schools” partnership with Cincinnati Public Schools, Sycamore Schools and Forest Hills Schools to serve sushi during the schools’ lunch times.
