CINCINNATI - A Bellevue company confirmed Wednesday that it is working on the redevelopment of the Drawbridge Inn site in Fort Mitchell, Ky.
The 15-acre site on Buttermilk Pike near I-71/75 operated as a hotel, convention center and restaurant complex for 42 years before closing in December of last year.
The planned mixed-use project is described as "upscale" in a statement released by Brandicorp LLC, which says it will partner with another developer on the project. Fort Mitchell officials confirmed conversations with Brandicorp, but declined to comment further.
"Brandicorp is close to finalizing a deal with a tenant who will anchor this upscale, mixed-use development," said the statement. "We are looking forward to achieving a successful project at what is arguably the best-located and most easily accessible site in all of Northern Kentucky."
