21c Museum Hotel Cincinnati named to Condé Nast Traveler 'hot list'

Ranked one of best hotels of 2013

CINCINNATI - The new 21c Museum Hotel Cincinnati was named to the Condé Nast Traveler "Hot List," the hotel announced Thursday.

The hotel, which opened in November 2012, combines an 8,000 square foot contemporary art museum with a 156-room boutique hotel and the Metropole restaurant. It's located just across the street from the Aronoff Center for the Arts and around the corner from the Contemporary Arts Center downtown.

"We're all smiling and happy, but we're all big believers in karma," said General Manager Gerry Link. "We're only as good as the last plate we put in front of someone or the last room we put someone in."

Link said the recognition shows him and the whole staff that they're accomplishing what they set out to do: To make the hotel a unique gathering spot in the region with superior customer service.

"This just continues to tell us we have to keep our focus on the customer," Link said.

The hotel is one of 154 properties from around the world to make the list of the Best New Hotels of 2013. Of those hotels, only 16 were in the U.S. The list is published in the May issue of the magazine.
