Air traffic controllers top the list of high paying jobs that don't require a four-year degree. They average $122,000 a year and nothing more than an Associate’s Degree is required. There are expected to be 7,000 openings between now and 2024.

Power plant workers who operate, control or monitor nuclear reactors ranked second on the list. They average $91,000 a year. The job requires nothing more than a high school diploma and an estimated 2,600 openings will take place between now and 2024.

Those who coordinate transportation, storage and distribution for companies can rake in a serious salary. Transportation coordinators average $89,000 a year and don’t need any degree. 27,000 openings are predicted between now and 2024.

Interested in law enforcement? Supervisory staff make an average of $84,000 a year. A high school diploma plus completion of the police academy is required. An estimated 43,000 positions will open in the next 7 years.

Power company workers rank fifth in pay. The average wage hit $81,000 in 2016. No degree is needed. The next seven years are expected to bring 3,900 openings.

Radiation therapists who monitor radiation patients, nuclear technicians, those who assist engineers in nuclear production, elevator repair workers, law enforcement detectives and pilots round out the top 10 jobs. They require a two-year degree or less. The salaries for these jobs range from $77,000 for pilots to $80,000 for radiation therapists.
