CINCINNATI - One of the most loved food items in Cincinnati, Busken's famous glazed donut, is going up in price.

Busken has just raised prices on its most popular donuts from 90 cents to 99 cents each.

However, the bakery tells us that it's also lowering prices on some items, such as the apple fritter, which is dropping from $1.50 to $1.19.

Busken says it is simply readjusting prices so that almost all individual items cost either 99 cents or $1.19.  Until this week, it had a wide array of different prices for small items.

So while donuts may now cost a bit more, some other items cost less. And small cookies are not changing. So you may not notice any price difference at all.

As always, don't waste your money.
