If the Ohio voter turnout reaches 69% on Election Day 2016, no matter who wins, Morris Home Furnishings and Ashley Furniture will pay for your furniture purchase.
It's no joke. You may recall that the two stores paid out in a similar promotion when Ohio State won the national championship two years ago.
Nearly 500 Ohio families ended up with free furniture, when the Buckeyes won.
How to Qualify for the Promotion
The catch is that you must buy at least $1,500 worth of furniture between now and November 7th. So you are essentially taking a gamble, an expensive gamble if voter turnout ends up being low.

So what are your odds? For comparison, in the most recent 2012 Obama-Romney election, Ohio's turnout was 65% according to the United States Election Project. So given the intensity of the Trump-Clinton campaign, 69% is not out off the question.
